Throw in the pandemic and the US being idiots with tariffs and prices are fast becoming unaffordable. Have you got any pics of the reef? Would love to see it!

Imagine paying your taxes and voting for members of parliament that make laws to represent you in your country. But then another "country" formed by unelected members can make laws that supercede the ones made and voted for in your own country. This other country does not want you to leave so makes your life as difficult as possible and wants to make an example out of you so that other "members" don't think about leaving as well. But it also turns out that your country is run by imbeciles, so nothing good can come of it.

The greatest act of national self-harm in postwar history. Best summary in a concise sentence, this is exactly how it will be taught to future generations in history books.

I wonder in a few years time when everyone is collectively poorer, there is no rebuilding of the empire, there is no wonder trade deal with the US and the promised investment from 'other countries' is not forthcoming....whether perhaps they might deny they were Brixteers!
Very sad situation.

First complaints will be in 7 months time when the weekly shop will have doubled in cost and the items shrunk by half , so many people were voting before knowing what benefits there would be or deals that would be met 🙄costs cuts from the pandemic and brexit Plus a wave of Covid infections for February 2021 a lot to look forward to😬

I think well summarized. It is very sad to see how the kingdom is destroying itself. I‘m German, I always loved to travel to the UK, I had a lot of funny nights in different cities / pubs and Clubs. Also you are very Special and I believe the Most of you have a big alcohol problem 😉😂 or a problem without 🤔😂 it was always a great time. I have been now a few times in the UK after you voted with leave and to be honest it changed a lot, the people are not so relaxed anymore, not so friendly a lot has changed at their behavior, you can feel it directly when arriving at the airport. I have to say, I will miss you in the EU and hope you will find in some years your way back to us and the people who voted with leave will see the advantages they had in the past years. Hopefully you will not get in trouble when Scotland decides to leave, Northern Ireland will be United with the Republic, if all this happen you will be very alone on your island ( ok at the end you will have Wales and a Lot of sheep’s 😂 ironic off ) Hope to see you one day again at the EU

True, but whose fault is it? I know parents who bribed their children to vote brexit (true story), I know young people who didn't go to vote because they thought remain would win anyway. A lazy generation will pay the heavy price of their "cba" attitude. Actions have consequences.

I sometimes wonder if it would have been easier just to give England a vote for independence. Leaving Scotland, Wales and North Ireland to remain in Europe!
Obviously it wouldn't have been as straightforward as that, and realise that the remaining members wouldn't hold anywhere near the level of power or persuasion that we did, nor would I have wanted the UK to break up.
But it would have satisfied those with a thirst for 'sovereignty' in the south.
Sadly I think this plays into the nationalist hands in Scotland, and then we will see (Mc)Boris style lies about how great it will be to Scexit.....how easy it will be to get back into Europe.
"Vote Poorer".....

On top of all that, we now have F***ing Brexit. F*** you Brexiteers! F*** the lot of you!
As a remoaner (and someone who thinks of himself as a European) I understand your sentiments. I really can’t understand why, in everyone’s best interests, we could not have agreed to postpone Brexit (with all us remoaners accepting that it will still happen) just until the pandemic is over (subject to the EU agreeing of course). I know we’ve left already, so I suppose I’m talking about extending the transition period.

Obey suspending UK orders , by Coach on Dec 18, 2020 13:33:50 GMT 1, Some people in the U.K. were angry because they thought they were being bullied with rules made by the European Union so they voted to leave. Imagine how angry they’ll be when they find out nothings changed.
The odd thing was that many of those rules, over which for many we had a veto, were to do things like protect employees’ rights, and protect the environment.

EU regulators based a decision to relicense the controversial weedkiller glyphosate on an assessment plagiarised from industry reports, according to a report for the European parliament.
A crossparty group of MEPs commissioned an investigation into claims, revealed by the Guardian, that Germany’s Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) copy-and-pasted tracts from Monsanto studies.
The study’s findings have been released hours before a parliamentary vote on tightening independent scrutiny of the pesticides approvals process.
The authors said they found “clear evidence of BfR’s deliberate pretence of an independent assessment, whereas in reality the authority was only echoing the industry applicants’ assessment.”
