Being sarcastic 🙄🤯 , noticed the interest in Emin increased on eBay a few weeks after She released a press statement , put a link up yesterday . Not everyone is fueled by thesE events to purchase but it is a driving force of late and is crass .

Tracey Emin • True love always wins, by mj on Dec 12, 2020 14:40:42 GMT 1, I am a big fan of her work, I have few prints and the ltd neon posters plus others that I have been collecting for many years. Had the chance meeting her on few occasions and Tracey was always lovely.
At the same time I am happy that her work is getting some love but at same time feel sad that the reason for this popularity now is not just for the love for the works but for wrong reason.
Wish her many more years of good health
I am a big fan of her work, I have few prints and the ltd neon posters plus others that I have been collecting for many years. Had the chance meeting her on few occasions and Tracey was always lovely.
At the same time I am happy that her work is getting some love but at same time feel sad that the reason for this popularity now is not just for the love for the works but for wrong reason.

Part of the editor was given to the IMMA late last year to sell in conjunction with a exhibition, where some of her work was displayed and after Emin International had closed.

They’re worth buying from source for a collector who wants to get her work at a still (relatively) affordable price, but beware the flippers are also out there doing magic with these now. Anything posted on here is going to be picked up and flipped. Lots of lurkers on here running bedroom art businesses - they love this free info.
Just a week or so after the last of the two editions sold out on IMMA, some chump has listed three of these on eBay for £800 each. Doesn’t even have them to hand so listings have no photos. But meh, that’s how the market works I guess.

My IMMA prints arrived this morning, and one is mint m, but the other (closed) looks really warped in the etching itself - like it’s been exposed to moisture?

There's a souvenir print of'I am The Last of my Kind' in the RA gift shop from this exhibition (£25). I am seeing these are selling/being brought at over 5 times face value on eBay! Just an FYI for anyone interested that these are still available directly from RA, I'm sure they can do with the support while the gallery is closed.

As people get priced out of the edition prints the lower items start to pick up as they are the only affordable option for most .
With emin her market has picked up in the last two years and again recently as partly of her illness .
