Strong words but he's right, the imperfections like this are common in early invader , even my banksy flying copper has over bleed of the outline.. it can't be wrong if the printer did it
I'd buy this but I think they are now just a bit to high

Invader Albino Print, by Acme Thunderer on May 24, 2017 20:15:40 GMT 1, Its their loss. Sounds as if the buyer was just making an excuse to back out. If you get a magnifying glass on early POW prints you will find an imperfection if you try hard enough. As long as it has number, signature and kept flat with no creases there should no issue. GLWTS

Invader Albino Print, by DrWhite on May 24, 2017 22:01:43 GMT 1, Well I thought I had this sold but buyer withdrew to "imperfections" in the printing. In my images you can see a very fine vertical, broken black line that goes over the two white tiles above and below the red right eye tile. You can also see where the black plate is slightly bleeding into the two yellow squares in the bottom right corner. These "imperfections" are part of the screen printing process I've spoken to another Albino owner who says his has similar marks and I've seen an image on google that seems to have the same vertical black line above and below the red right eye (hard to be 100% sure due to resolution) but would be interested to hear from other owners if their print has printing imperfections like these in the black plate. I'm inclined to think anyone looking for a perfectly printed Albino for sale is likely to die of old age before they find one... Other than these printing imperfections mine is in as near mint condition as a 12 year old print could be and I am currently looking for offers at £7k+ thanks.
It's part of the obsession for mint prints - a lot of collectors new to the scene expect these prints to be pristine & identcal, it's a struggle to explain these anomalies as being part of the character of the screen printing process, almost every print I own or have owned has some little issue. Things like this which are in the print form its production due to the printing / screening process are all part of its identity - my Girl With Balloon has green strands in the paper- my space one has paper fibre issues - to name a couple, but they've been part of the print since it's inception and I think of them as part of the print - not damage or handling issues.

Invader Albino Print, by avec art on May 24, 2017 23:10:01 GMT 1, with respect what DrWhite is saying is a little different. With screen printing there are always slight differences or subtle effects from the process. In this case it looks like scratches in the light sensitive coating on the black screen. It does not detract, but adds something, as they are marks from an analogue and age old technique. It's these imperfections that reveal stages in the process, if it happened as result of the printer and their process, and part of the release, then it is part of the artwork.

OMG your buyer knows Fxck all about screen prints.
In this case ALL the later number #80 and above I have seen of Invaders Albino invader have tiny micro black paints streeks across the print which would consider absolutely normal as apart of the screen print process. Many early POW prints carried the tiny minor imperfections that makes each release unique.
GLWS!!!

Invader Albino Print, by Octopus UK on May 26, 2017 21:18:16 GMT 1, Ditto. When I got (one of) the last prints that POW had, I actually contacted them to see if they could give me a copy without these black lines. They said no, but they would take the print back. After much agonising, I decided to keep the print.

Invader Albino Print, by spirit on May 26, 2017 21:58:32 GMT 1, Thanks for the confirmation guys.
Just for the record, mine is in the 60's - and it has the black lines, so don't read too much into 80.
It might be better to ask, does anyone have one that doesn't have them?

I was happy with it and so was the buyer. No one has really known what the actual value of these is for years as there haven't been any sales (at least in public) so probably good to establish a benchmark of sorts.
