Had the same issue many years ago with a Banksy and it has very low value because: you don’t know how it has been glued, and it can be really bad for the print; and you can’t be sure it can be safely removed from the backing.

So it’s basically a bet, so you buy with all risks and only if you like the image. Sorry

daveyuk • sorry didn’t finish my message - I meant to say I think artists only create the amount of prints or canvases that are sold on the first day - then, cleverly, put a note on the website saying ‘sold out’ . They may only sell a few but repeat the process etc
