Royal Academy: The Summer Exhibition 2020, by Eastend Boy 13 on Sept 7, 2020 15:48:06 GMT 1, INVITATION
The President and Council request the pleasure of your company at
The Summer Exhibition 2020
Buyers Days
For the first time in its 252 year history, the Summer Exhibition will fall in the winter. But at the RA Summer is a state of mind not a time of year...
We're delighted to invite you to this year's Buyers Days, one of the first opportunities to view and buy art from our annual Summer Exhibition.
Due to social distancing measures, capacity is extremely limited and all visitors must book their time slot to visit in advance.
Please book online for 1 October here or for 2 October here. Be sure to book an extra ticket for your guest if required.
As tickets are limited, booking will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If you're unable to make it this year, don't fear. We will also be sending you priority access to the Summer Explorer, our online Summer Exhibition art buying platform and viewing room, before it opens to the public. A unique link will be sent to you in October. Watch your inbox.
Summer Exhibition Buyers Days

We have implemented a number of new measures to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff. Find out more about the steps we've taken here.

Royal Academy: The Summer Exhibition 2020, by John The Badgers on Sept 9, 2020 13:05:52 GMT 1, Thanks earthlinga2, appreciate the recommendation and comments.
Not going as a buyer, but have a few days booked over New Year in London, and this looks a top visit.
Not been before, The Summer Exhibition that is, not London, so now on the list to do.

Royal Academy: The Summer Exhibition 2020, by abstrakted on Oct 13, 2020 4:19:04 GMT 1, Iโve bought pieces from the Summer Exhibition twice.
Prices are fair for many pieces, and much will sell out, but in my opinion thereโs also no small amount of wishful thinking going on with some of the prices. If you like an artist but arenโt desperate to buy, just follow the artistโs website or social media. You might find that prices are way lower after some time.
If I were buying, this one is pretty fantastic and well priced: se.royalacademy.org.uk/2020/artworks/jay-zhang/438

Royal Academy: The Summer Exhibition 2020, by Deleted on Dec 14, 2020 19:44:55 GMT 1, We went at the weekend, too, and really enjoyed it (although didnโt think the first couple of rooms were that inspiring). Loved the Perry print, among others. Also liked the room showing the architectural projects I know what you mean about the first couple rooms - were a bit flat (apart from a lovely and massive Frank Bowling for ยฃ756K). Have to say, I never get the architectural room - it always confuses me by being there!
