Who or more interestingly what kind of people are buying this stuff these days? It’s a lot of money being thrown around. There's a lot of people with a lot of money in the world, mate. I remember being in Miami Beach not too long ago and looking around at all the apartments rising above me... ocean fronted, inlet front etc, as far as the eye can see. There literally must have been thousands of them, each of them costing millions of dollars... and that was just Miami Beach. I suddenly realised how many people have a lot of cash. |

One of my favourites as has a strong banksy feel to it personally and to have a subject matter that is usually a taboo subject to be made at the time was fresh.
When this originally came out religion was a touchy subject as a lot of hidden scandals were coming to light in that time period and the pc world was kicking in. At this stage in his career he would probably not tackle the same subject matter now though

I had a quick query (apologies obvious question..) but does the bid price at the auction include mark up etc or does that get added on after to the purchaser? I.e. if I was to sell the print would I get the bid price?
I've been out of the game for a while but have a couple of unsigned banksy's that are in this auction, I am absolutely shocked by how much they are going for!

I think you are using 34% uplift for For BP VAT ARR.
I have just double checked the T&C and there is an extra 1% overhead cost at Sotheby's. making the total 35%
I know its not a lot, but on some of these bids it will soon add up.
