Sotheby's Art Auctions • LONDON 🇬🇧, by jp on Mar 12, 2021 10:49:28 GMT 1, That Sepia Morons price really stands out, especially considering the auction is far from over. Morons in general seems to be moving up the ladder. Also, is this a record for most Banksy prints in a single auction? Must be for Sothebys at least. As I said in Jan, you're going to see the early 2021 benchmark for prices in this auction. Yes I agree. In general Sothebys is the best house if you are a seller. What I meant when I said record above is the actual number of prints being auctioned. It's half the bloody POW catalog.

Ross: 'McWhirter advocated various restrictions on the freedom of the Irish community in Britain, such as making it compulsory for all of them to register with the local police and to provide signed photographs of themselves when renting flats or booking into hotels and hostels.'
Norris: 'Co-founded the right-wing political organisation the National Association for Freedom (now The Freedom Association) in 1975.[7] This organisation initiated legal challenges against the trade union movement in the UK, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and the European Economic Community (EEC) in Brussels.'
Good f***in' riddance to both of them.

If there are multiple records broken ( I think there will be ) Sothebys will be a cut above all the other tier 1 auction houses for Banksy yet again.
Forget all the teir 2/3/4/5 auction houses going forward, you are just throwing money down the drain.

Imagine where these would trade if they accepted Bitcoin or Eth. It also confuses my why you bother bidding so early in something like this, why not just wait until the end?

Agreed LV, both estimates very ambitious and let's face it the Grannies is pretty horrid aside from the fact it is handfinished.
Anyone know if that TM colourway is unique?

From what I hear there are a lot of people interested in the Grannies.
I think they are sick.
Much better than the same colour way AP’s or maybe like the Stop and Search variation with the different gloves.... what’s the point in that.

Much better than the same colour way AP’s or maybe like the Stop and Search variation with the different gloves.... what’s the point in that. Do these exist? Never heard about them. Sounds a bit like the myth of hand finished trolley handles, but at the same time it wouldn't surprise me. There's been a lot of variations on prints coming up in the last years that are new to most people.

Hmm...is there a special VIP S&S then? Someone I know who has one was asked if they had the blue or yellow Version... I said theres no such thing as a yellow S&S... but is someone here suggesting there is another secret run of S&S prints?
