“Cages” - New Sandra Chevrier Book, by riotcops on Jul 30, 2020 18:05:00 GMT 1, Think its releasing on the home page, new release page or emailing a new link? Lol, seems like it was sold out before it even went live... Scored one. All the links I mentioned ended up pointing to the same spot in the end.

Ya I think they had them both listed two hours later than they should have been. Well its 6pm GMT, and they have them listed for sale at 7pm GMT. They also have Hong Kong going on sale in an hour. No matter how you look at it it's wrong.

i love when publishers put these meaningless terms/conditions on their listings. if an item is lost in transit, its 100% on them (not the buyer).

“Cages” - New Sandra Chevrier Book, by Ken Hashimoto on Jul 30, 2020 20:05:45 GMT 1, Ah crud - sorry about the typo on the timezones!
I am glad to see that 50% of our Deluxe copies went internationally though, so it does look like a lot of happy fans overseas.
I'm also happy to see that our anti-bot measures seemed to have worked as I'm not noticing any copies on eBay which is pretty rare as they seem to get listed pretty quickly. Will keep an eye out on the Bay regardless and will cancel orders if I can.
Thanks for the support ya'll!

“Cages” - New Sandra Chevrier Book, by Ken Hashimoto on Jul 30, 2020 20:15:43 GMT 1, i love when publishers put these meaningless terms/conditions on their listings. if an item is lost in transit, its 100% on them (not the buyer). TBH that's more just to encourage people to use Priority Mail instead of First Class or Media Mail.
The USPS is totally f*d up right as Trump is attempting to dismantle the postal service so he can disrupt the upcoming election (no postal service = no mail in voting), which coupled with covid means that all international shipments are taking forever.
Heck, the Michael Reeder prints we shipped out in April are still in transit to the EU, just got notice that one delivered yesterday, totally ridiculous.
In regards to liability, that is questionable as we have noticed that some packages make their way to international carriers only then get waylaid there. TBH I personally think that if you live in Spain and the Spanish post loses your shipment, blaming the independent book publisher in the US is a bit unfair, but obviously it's not the customers fault either.
soupysound - Feel free to DM me with your order number and I will personally look into your shipping options so that we can make sure you order arrives safely.

“Cages” - New Sandra Chevrier Book, by Ken Hashimoto on Jul 30, 2020 20:18:05 GMT 1, how much was the postage to uk? It's pretty expensive, but I've been assured by my distributor that we'll have copies available in the UK and EU later in September or October. If you have a local bookstore who would like to carry our titles just have them get in touch with me at info@paragon-books.com and I'll connect them to our distributor, this'll save you on shipping!

It was an experiment but it does seem to have worked judging by the lack of listings on eBay.... (so far!)

Bots can be tricked in many ways, like doing a "treasure hunt" on the website.

I actually took a look and we dont have any orders going to Portugal, but it's actually not all that hard to list a false address on eBay so who knows where this one is actually coming from, or where the order is shipping too and being forwarded from. These flippers are a slippery bunch!
