I was also surprised with the packaging as their insta story showed them preparing more sturdy tubes, maybe those were for the signed ones! Poster wasn't damaged though so no harm done, I like that it's numbered.

Easy to get one anyway, just to go to the gallery when both artists are there.

I’m not agree about charity : a lot are selling with charity excuse : but what do we know exactly ?

They have to respect all the people, to be serious at the name of people helped ( I’m in that disease case so I can talk ) , of the association, and to the buyers too.

It was very expensive, a lot of posters seem to get some «  creases « and tubes were very thin. I have paid 180 euros for this poster.

Respect first for everybody. Quality too. It’s the first commandment for charity.

You know, under this charity name you can sell what you want ( in France we have had even National organisations asking money for cancer that were robbing us : guys kept the money - I don’t talk of the gallery I just take an example.

If I receive one smashed tube and spoiled poster, what I will ( a foreigner )  can do ? Nothing ! To send the poster back with international shipping coss will be more than to buy it, taxes don’t care about refund.

Charity ok, but respect and seriousness for everybody.

Those buying knew only 20 were signed in 1000. 1 in 50 would win.
You have 1 in 3 chance of winning a scratchcard usually, and how many win those.

Returning prints as they are not signed is not great behaviour in any case, but the fact 50% was for charity-  Just suck it up.


If on the other hand your print is actually damaged and its not damage inflicted on purpose for the above reason, then of course send it back.

The quality of the print is low, very low. I bought two and regretted the purchase as soon as I unwrapped the prints.

I'm not a hypocrite like some others , and I'm trying to tell the truth (some are lying to themselves and others): I didn't have a Doodle print, so I bought a doodle print, I received instead a blotting paper with guys - who spoke about a ridiculous lottery, 20/1000 signed, it is not 1/5 but 1/50 ?! lazy of the hand ? ) who say to me: "ah ok, you want a signed print, go to our shop when you want, doodle and shem will sign it for you (which they did the other day already for the friends, Londoners or not ).


I don't give for charity, I never gave, it was to me that we gave (so that my children go one week in holidays with their father, after the divorce - my ex was very rich, my salary is 1700 e per month, I am in over-indebtedness, and give 1200 euros per month, rent charges etc.) which I have been helped by social services, psychiatric or not, for years (otherwise I was struggling and playing music).

Giving for charity is a rich man's thing, sorry to be believed but it's the truth, ask my gypsy friends or not. I have had prints? Ask the horses (If I was a rich guy I would not sell any Banksy or Invader Lp, prints, posters tats, etc etc... ) , The game ? a poor thing.

In fact I am telling my life story, but this is a reality. How to give when you don't have?
I didn't want to give Hoxton, I wanted an affordable print, for once, from a little known and a little bit hyped guy ( doodle colab - I like collabs - was an attractive thing ), for me: for my sanity and to do me good, a gift we call that.

Respectfully, the ‘poverty’ shtick gets pretty old when you spend out hundreds of euros a month on tat, and have £100k of prints on your wall, minimum. People actually living in poverty would consider both of those things ridiculous luxuries.
