Really like his work though! There must be someone on here who lives in Europe who can order it for you and send it to you.
I don't mind ordering for a US member, but they do charge you 20% VAT + fees here for importing.
And then you need to add FedEx fees to ship to USA, since DHL Parcel and Postnl suck big times nowadays....

You dont pay 20% you pay 5%. I claimed back Β£100 a couple weeks ago from import fees. But still - yes its a faff

But just did some searching and apparantly in NL you pay 9% on art instead of 21% VAT.
So I need to figure out how to get that refunded. From Kenji and from Brett Kern art.....
But yeah, he should send his stuff to USA himself with FedEx and open up a new market.

I like the ones on the white paper best. The illusion looks the most effective when the background's really clean. Some of those ring paintings, especially the rainbow ones, are stunning. I imagine these are a lot harder to do than they look.

Please do let me know! I did reach out to him about sending stateside and got a sort of canned response about japan post etc etc. I also have family in England and Ireland (Iβm an expat myself), so I have the option there.

This has a similar paint stroke with shadow. It is an older Will Cotton painting, 1991 I think, so quite different form his current stuff.

Is it the US banning flights from Japan/Asia, rather then Japan Post not shipping to US? Seems odd.
