On the bay theres a few of these up for sale and it always makes me laugh how the bidding frenzy pushes the end price past other ones that are listed with a buy it now for less! I think the last one went for £275ish but if the bidders just done a quick search before hand they would have seen others for sale at £230 therefore saving some money for another print. Its always worth doing this quick search before paying more than you have to on any print purchase on the bay.

I spent 3 hours with Nick Walker yesterday, he told me that he added a few personal touches to one of the Simpson prints, big black eyebrows and smiley faces on the beads of her necklace!

Hethought it was pretty funny! Anyone on here get that copy?

I have decided to sell my mona simpson artist proof number 3/8.
This sale comes with a one off ghetto ghost that has been sprayed onto white card.
I am selling both items together as this is (in a strange way) i received them.
When i purchased the mona simpson print from Nick in early 2006 he stated that this was a edition of 8 artist proofs so you can image my face when last july i saw the same print on ebay with the same number. I emailed nick & being the great man he is he did no more than call me explaining that there were only 8 prints but somehow he had sent out two prints with the same number.
He sent me a certificate of authenticity for the print plus the ghetto ghost as a gift.
I have never sold anything on ebay before so this will be on offer here but if i get no real interest then it will go on ebay.
All email's between me & nick will be sent with the print.

I don't get it guys! I bought one originally on impulse, purely because I like Nick's stuff and had a payment issue with getting stuff from his site - paypal issues (I wish that bird working for him had been more helpful as EVERYTHING has now sold out!!), but when I received this print my only real happiness came from knowing it had only cost me a nifty + p&p. I love a lot of Nick's stuff and really was very gutted not to be able to get the TMAs at original cost and various others I was planning to grab from his site before Bonhams in Feb', as for me they're gone for good at today's prices, but this one I just hate. These colours in such abundance would never make the wall and I'm thrilled to have just got a nice profit from the piece (first print I've ever sold!).
