New Weird Order, by Leo Boyd on Mar 18, 2021 11:37:22 GMT 1, I have been commissioned to make a short film and have till the end of the month to get it all shot and edited. Mainly I have been building the props and pretending to write a script.
It is quite good fun all in all and I think after this I might work on a series of shorts.
Here is a still and below are some sketches that might end up being used in said film.

But my girlfriend has a deadline so I am staying here while she works and hopefully nothing kicks off. It all seems pretty quiet at the moment so here's hoping.
I am using this time to upload some stuff to my site and do a general studio sort.

This piece is another studio drawer find and is the last one of these found cardboard pieces.
Tomorrow I am off to the print workshop for the first time in months to strip my screens and get some new art pieces on the go. So that is pretty fucking exciting!

It is a slow zen process and very unlike screen printing.
But it is mad satisfying.
Here are some work in progress shots and I will try and get some shots of the finished pieces tomorrow.

Today I tried it out... I was quite methodical and used a ruler and everything.
Here is the outcome. It took me a while to figure out what I had done wrong.
The second image is one that I mirrored on photoshop.

This here is a charity print in aid of Anaka womens group so that they can buy art equitpment... more specifically ceramics for workshops.
Each print is £30 including P&P so all the money goes to the charity.
