POW not returning email!, by snakes on Jul 11, 2007 17:45:09 GMT 1, I have always just sent Dora an email saying that i purchased 'bla bla print' from 'so and so' on ebay and he says it is registered in his name or to 'mr another so and so' and she has always said whether this was the case within 24hrs of email being sent.
Maybe they are a bit rushed off their feet at the moment, what with the new Banksy and Invader release!

which means either...
I've saved some money
or i missed a bargain...
or ..... well they're snowed and will reply when they can 
either way up until now they've been pretty speedy !

I emailed Dora on 2nd of July asking for proof of purchase & giving the dates i purchased the prints but have yet to receive any reply.
I am in no great hurry for my request but it seems a little strange that some people get an answer the same day whilst others do not.
I have re sent the emial in case it has gone a stray.
This is no snipe at POW as i have been dealing with them for 4 years now & have always found them helpful.

then 3 months later the morons print drops with no lottery system in sight. must have put their energy into coming up with witty comments for the forthcoming zbiok print.

i actually think they should start charging for the provenance service. well only if it was cheap and made for a faster service.
it would be easy to set up a page on the website where you type in the name and number of the print you have and the name you think its registered in. then you submit it and get transferred to a payment page.
It would be better for POW too becuase the number of requests woud probably be halved. I'd say a charge of about ยฃ5 would be sufficient. maybe even less. hell, it'd probably pay enough to hire an extra person to man it.

Iv always stuck up for POW regarding issues like this and packaging, but my opinion is dropping by the day!
