Bansky & The Rise of Outlaw Art. , by Not 4 The Thril on Feb 23, 2020 18:47:12 GMT 1, I watched it last night. It was ok, really slow. Nothing you haven't seen before. Its like if a college filmmaker watched Saving Banksy and Exit Through the Gift shop and was tasked with making their own version of it.

Bansky & The Rise of Outlaw Art. , by King Robbo Lives on Feb 29, 2020 14:04:55 GMT 1, It's up on Vudu as well. It does a great job of following the rise of Banksy and his movements. Not as much focus on the overall Street Art scene as anticipated by the title, but a great flick nonetheless. 8/10 in my opinion, would have been a 9 sans Ben Eine.
There were a few scenes that stuck out to me. The inclusion of Del Naja's Marilyn Monroe screenprints from "The Art of Massive Attack" book were shown in a series of works early on that were suggested to be Banksy. I'm curious how that got mixed up or if it were done intentionally.
Secondly, Steve Lazarides mentions that he used to take the bus into Bristol to see 3D's early works. I hadn't heard that before. Cool piece of history to add into the annals.
edit: It was mentioned in the 2016 Independent feature of Laz, "he pauses at some canvases by Robert "3D" Del Naja, the Massive Attack singer-cum-graffiti artist. "He's really the reason I got started. I used to get the bus in from the estate I lived in to go and see his graffiti. Way before he started his idiotic pop band!""
...[on Banksy] "The detail of the duo's falling out remains a mystery but there seems to be no love lost on either side. "I saw him at a Massive Attack gig last Friday, but maintained a healthy distance," Lazarides says."...
