London Art Fair, by jay1882 on Jan 9, 2009 10:44:48 GMT 1, All the participating galleries are given a large amount of comps for the fair. Just check the gallery list and give one a bell (prob. worth mentioning that you're really looking forward to visiting their specific stand or you're particularly interested in viewing one of their artists). They'll be falling over themselves to post you a ticket.

London Art Fair, by Mr Percy on Jan 15, 2009 1:17:43 GMT 1, Everything was way out of my price range but great to see some pieces in the flesh. For me Guy Denning's work stood out, as did Swoon's (which I first mistook for C215). There were some excellent charcoal portraits but the artist name escapes me and the map of the world burnt into slices of bread was pretty cool too.
One criticism....what seemed like a million pieces of art and only 1 and a half hours to get round them in the end.

London Art Fair, by Urban Cowboy on Jan 15, 2009 10:09:08 GMT 1, Not exactly a favourite but I did spot Cassandra from Only Fools and Horses and the bloke from Eldorado (ask your Mum). I was going to come up with an original hilarious bit of banter but thought better of it, smiled politely and moved on.
Also liked Denning but as I have already bought from Dale Grimshaw this week, thankfully I didn't see anything that I preferrred in that price bracket.

London Art Fair, by jusdeep on Jan 15, 2009 10:34:56 GMT 1, My favourites from the show would have to be Elbow Toe, Matt Small and Guy Denning. But on a non street art level, Nina Dolan, Peter Iden, Mark Demsteader and Nathan Ford.
