Just come back from the London Art Fair. Very good stuff there. Had Leonard Street Gallery with If only you liked sex as much as shopping for £27,000. Seems like a steal to me (if you have that sort of cash) looks amazing in the flesh.

Also they had this guy, thought he was great, bought apocolypse wow, real nice print.

Things I forgot to mention, you can pick up the death of London 1/400 By James Cauty, 25p each with little individual scrawls on the back, big twister hitting canary wharf and ocontemporary in Brighton are having a Dface exhibition, starting in March called Eyecons, gallery fella told me that they will be selling an exclusive print at the show.

Dan baldwin is one of the Brighton 'school'.
Big mates with Antony Micallef and Simon Dixon (I think IDan and Simon share a studio).

What with the DFace exhibition at the end of March and all the other emerging talent there, it seems like Brighton is becoming a bit of a magnet for the new art scene.

That'll be the spot UV and then layer of varnish on top. Looks lush, but V expensive!

The Dan Baldwin stuff is very cool. There are some great hand painted vases available @ 595 each which seems like a pretty good buy, especially if you like obscene vases.

He has a solo show coming up in Feb, where I should have a vase to collect, can't wait

I like Dan Baldwin's stuff, bit expensive for a Giclee. I bought a couple of prints from this guy www.benfrostisdead.com and the method of image overload and layering is quite similar. Check his work out. See what you think.

It's by STOT (or STOT21stCplanB - Scorpion Thunderbolt of the Twenty First Century Plan B - to give them their full name). It's a taster of their next exhibition, at the Aquarium L-13 in February, where, in their typical style, they will have over 1000 visions of doom dragged from the future.

It's a little 'print' (about 9cm x 7cm) and has a number (between 1 and 400) stamped in the top right front corner, within the normal STOT blind stamp, and a hand drawing on the back (this is their signature'). They were sold at The London Art Fair for the princely sum of 25p, most probably (knowing the Aquarium) to be as far removed from all the poncy Cork St exhibitors as possible.

I've already agreed to send a few to people who couldn't get to the Fair, so if you REALLY want one, PM me. This is for people who can't get to London, don't live in London, have a sick dog, have no nose, etc, so no Walthamstow people :-)

and no f'ing dealers or generally people on here who are always going on about 'buy my prints', 'how much are they worth' and 'is it too big / is it too small?' (i just couldn't resist a Life of Brian joke in there...).

In the very unlikely event that these command huge sums on ebay in the future, and u want to flog it, please have the decency to donate the cash to charity.

Finally - I imagine (just an educated guess) the Aquarium will probablt sell the ones they have left on the website, but couldn't be certain. So if you miss out, don't worry.
