this one keeps getting relisted, deffs fake.

I haven’t seen many cans to know what is fake or not so I have no knowledge. What is the obvious signs this is a fake ?

there are about 4 signs, 2 which are very clear but the other 2 which are less clear...for me being the amount of the black over spray and how its applied and the signature doesn't look quite right.

I don't want to mention the other 2 which confirm it as a fake just incase they are improved on

I did purchase this from chris who is in wales who from the start did tell me he did sell a item that he believed to be Banksy to a person that wasn’t genuine and he refunded the person straight away. He actually did say this before we purchased this Banksy spray can for the museum. The packaging does seem authentic and chris has been from the start very helpful and answered all questions we have put to him. The person that has bought of him who I believe is on this thread. If anything here is not true please let me know as I am aware he did sell a item but refunded them straight away but as I say he has told us this which he didn’t have to

thanks for finding this post and replying. Sadly that can is not legitimate and the paperwork is def mocked up. If you go here  shop.grossdomesticproduct.com/collections/frontpage/products/banksy-black  you can see what a real can looks like. If you go on eBay and search, you’ll see periodically replica cans that look like yours. I would see if you can get your money back and hope you didn’t pay too much for this?

So he sells a piece he believed to be a Banksy, finds out it's fake, then tells you your buying a legit one

Man just take back your funds and run. 

On another note, don't buy anything Banksy unless it has a COA, and do check the COA before buying

From what I can see, the most obvious difference between the real ones that I have seen online and the one on eBay is the nozzle. The real ones seem to have a small/thin nozzle and you can see a gap below the nozzle where it connects to the can. Also, the one on eBay has a different shape to the top of the can - real ones have one dome but the one of eBay has a double-dome.

The signature looks too thick and the "a" has less of a curve to it and the black paint looks thicker on the one on eBay.

Chris Hardie tried to sell me a fake via Facebook. He’s also amscammed two people unrelated to Banksy items, used to run a separate business called House of Rust in Wales. I was given his address and phone number as another UAA user had a similar bad encounter. If anybody wants it PM me.

Ok, so let me get this straight. You are ‘spookys64’ and you claim you ‘bought’ this can from Chris Hardie?

Yet last week you were also selling a questionable Di-Faced Tenner on eBay under the same account which has now mysteriously vanished - the same Di-Faced Tenner that Chris Hardie tried to sell me on Facebook and claims to still have available.

Something doesn’t add up here. Either you have been conned by this guy numerous times and are too stupid to see it or you are in fact Chris Hardie himself. Either way, you should remove these listings immediately.
