Banksy Captured Book • Steve Lazarides , by Dice on Oct 4, 2020 8:19:23 GMT 1, Uh, for some reason I received a copy of the 2nd edition (which) I never ordered, with Steve Lazarides writing “Apologies” with his signature in the book. Then the other day I received a duplicate of “Balloon Fight” which I already received. Does anyone know who I should contact to tell these people that they screwed up? Also, I would like everyone to note that when I did initially purchase “Balloon Fight”, I paid something around £450 because I was told that only 250 of these were made. Then I received the duplicate today which said this was from an edition of 200. Yeah, makes be feel like I was definitely scammed.
I think I would just keep it

Haha, I guess, but that wouldn’t make me much better than Laz, would it? If I’m going to call him out for misleading customers for profit, I would be a hypocrite if I thought it was okay to keep products I did not pay for. Some people would say that honesty and integrity are important *cough cough*

Yep. I just wouldn’t count on the ‘calling him out’ going very well ha

Banksy Captured Book • Steve Lazarides , by puritog on Oct 6, 2020 20:55:35 GMT 1, Yeah, Laz completely lacks any seller etiquette. I understand he wants to optimize his gains, but this is playing his customers dirty. I bought the 125GBP vol 2, but immediately regretted it. All I want is a 25GBP vol 2 soft back to match my vol 1. Also releasing vol 1 first edition in numbered and un-numbered version is a very weird move. You ain't seeing my money again, Laz.

Laz must be sick seeing how much his collection that he sold would be worth now. All he has is his photos and some stickers and odds and ends left. It’s clear his financial situation has taken over any personal pride he has left Banksy must be watching from afar shaking his head in disbelief. He could of walked away from the scene and had his integrity and reputation secure instead he’s cashing in. when you have a family to provide for you have to pay the bills I get that but he was once is a very comfortable position and blew it believing his own hype. If I were banksy I’d be thinking what does he do after the last sticker is sold and he has nothing left to lose? Maybe one last book or documentary where the images aren’t blacked out?

I agree not in all what you said, but in partial. You are right, of course he has to take care for his family and to pay his bills like everybody else has to do so. In my opinion he made really a lot of money with Banksy, also when he sold his collection earlier to cheaper prices than now. Remembring, that he is making for each fucking tenner 1850£ Now and before 1250£, nobody of us know, how many he sold of this every day or in the last months, so I think he is full of money, his family will always have enough food to eat, always a roof over their heads, so I think we should be not concerned about him.

Banksy Captured Book • Steve Lazarides , by pumpkintico on Oct 31, 2020 18:51:06 GMT 1, Evening all.
I quite fancy trying to buy a hardback Volume 1 and Volume 2. I’m struggling to understand all the different editions of Volume 1. Could anyone please help me out by summarising or pointing me in the direction of a simple summary?
I’ve read about some people having issues when ordering from lazemporium.com - what would you say the best way to get my hands on these would be? And what should I be looking to pay?
Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Banksy Captured Book • Steve Lazarides , by puritog on Oct 31, 2020 19:59:17 GMT 1, As I recall:
Vol1 - First edition numbered (paperback, edition 5000) - First edition unnumbered (paperback) - Second edition (paperback, not sure about edition size) - Third edition (paperback, still available on lazemporium, no mention of edition size) - Black edition (hardback, edition 1000) - Red "F&F" edition (hardback, edition 500)
Vol2 - Pink edition (hardback, edition 5000, still available on lazemporium) - Paperback "First Printing" (no mention of edition size) And probably other versions coming.
No clue about resale prices, you'll have to check ebay for that. I personally had no problems with my orders, but some people did.
Maybe someone else can fill in missing info or correct anything I said wrong.
