he (steve) reached out to a couple of reputable galleries, one in florida which i bought a whatson print from recently, asking for partnerships in selling his banksy notes and other paraphernalia..this was late 2019...they, politely, said no. so he moved on to lesser known galleries.

Forgive my ignorance but what would be considered a fair price for a CD then? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one for sale so not sure what’s fair and what’s not. Do any forum members have any for sale with provenance, if so please hit me up!

Well, I like to think of myself as a collector first and a gallerist second, which I suppose is technically true as I joined this forum in ‘09 and Hashimoto Contemporary in ‘13.

Anyway, was mostly just curious as it seemed like a decent price considering the signature and provenance so I was sort of surprised to see folks here seem to say it wasn’t.
