I saw he painting a wall (legally) late at night around the corner from my old house many years ago.

I went up to him to say a few nice things and was received by a very unpleasant person.

I like different artists for different reasons. I like Anthony Lister for his art talent, to watch him paint is incredible, especially in studio. He doesn't sweat the small stuff and as you watch you can see him paint from the heart, it's not stressed about or overly planned in the start. Instead it comes alive as if when started the end result is blurry, but comes in to focus as the piece progresses. I also enjoy seeing his art in the streets, both legal and illegal. I have come across it on all sides of the world, from Spain, to Sydney, to New York and LA, and many places in between. Some of them are sculptures, some are murals executed quite painterly, and some are much more primitive like simply tags, stickers, and even just LISTER sprayed across a building with a fire extinguisher from which he filled with paint. He doesn't seem to copy anyone which I like an artist with an approach of their own. Anyways, I don't know him personally, and I can appreciate there are reasons for others to not like him and we all have the right to our own opinion. I'm sure I'd be bummed if I ran up to an artist I like to say hello and they were just a total asshole. Haha. Anyways just sharing my two cents!

I just bought one off the bay and was really excited about it but then the seller got really shady and asked me to cancel the order and paypal them money instead because they were on their deathbed. when i said no they canceled the order

Pretty sure it’s still waiting to go to trial. However he was charged and convicted of vandalism related to harassment of a woman a friend of his was having issues with, which just adds to his shitty attitude towards women. Those latest charges result from found footage from when he was raided over the rape accusations
