I don’t have much compassion for these kinds of people. Yeah, its almost more shocking because the last interaction everyone had with him was watching the documentary and thinking “he seems to genuinely be trying to reconcile with his family, i hope everything works out for him” and then this is the next thing we hear.

I wonder what the timeline is on this, how far back do the allegations go? Was he doing rapes (allegedly) at the same time as making a movie to make us feel bad for him?

News reports say incidents date back as early as 2015.

In the documentary, you see his ex wife retell an anecdote when she quizzed him about having he had sex with a third party, and he kept denying it to her.

He has been freed on 20K bail. Court case on May 7. Prosecution says he lured eighteen , nineteen year old art students and raped them and drugged and tattood one victim.

They are pushing for a long sentence.

I used to be a huge fan of Louis C.K, but when he got accused of sexual missconduct I started to understand his jokes in a different way, and they stopped being that funny.
Not gonna say that his jokes are not good or his performance isn't on point, but I just started to see his work from a different perspective.

It happens the same with Lister, yes, he is very talented and his carrer defenitely deserves some respect , but I cannot see his work withouth having this new information in mind.

I’ve got one of the water colour nudes and a superhero diptych. I’ve taken them down as I don’t want to look at them after these allegations. I know it’s still unproven but the case sounded pretty solid and regardless he comes across as a bit of a toxic character who has no respect for women. I look at the nude and wonder whether the women it in even consented or had been drugged. I’d sell them and donate the money to a women’s charity but I can’t see anyone buying Lister at the moment.

I don't think I'll be getting rid of mine as I still like his art work just not sure it will be the 1st one up for framing when I get round to it. Will prob stay in the folder. As people have said up thread he is a troubled man but the allegations are extremely serious. Very sad.
