I can remember when it was first shown, and as you say, I think it’s been offered up here before. I guess it’s not an easy piece to display at home, but if you have a big enough space, maybe it would suit better a gallery or museum to have as a permanent display. |

I can remember when it was first shown, and as you say, I think it’s been offered up here before. I guess it’s not an easy piece to display at home, but if you have a big enough space, maybe it would suit better a gallery or museum to have as a permanent display.

It's certainly against best practice, no artist wants to see their work sold for less than retail but it does happen... this is why auctions are exciting for some art collectors, when they are the only one in the room who knows the true value, but even then, the auction house is inclined to do their own research and not let a piece go without reserve way, way below market value, because then they are doing something wrong..
