It means the courier can jump on your item, throw it out the van window and then say they left it in the safe place :-)

Yep you've guessed it ... The bin got taken, along with the artworks!!
Slight problem as it had been marked as 'Delivered' ... A pretty big headache right there on return from our hols ...

However we were away on holiday for the week ... Yep you've guessed it ... The bin got taken, along with the artworks!! Slight problem as it had been marked as 'Delivered' ... I had to tick a box stating I relief the courier of responsibility and the gallery I got it from.

Haha yeah not a chance for that. I usually get them redelivered to where I'm working at the time, but I'm cycling at the minute and didnt fancy holding a tube and cycling. Its nothing too pricey.

On the plus side, eBay have a policy of refunding the buyer and letting the seller keep their money if the item goes... "missing".

I've had some packages left literally on the doorstep before, and that wound me up. No effort to even hide it.

Haven't tried this, but the number of options now available to me is reassuring โ especially at institutions of higher learning.
I understand there are plenty of student campuses where my parcels will never risk being exposed to views that are out of sync with the currently-prevailing orthodoxy.
