The squiggle looks more like a pale orange tilde to me, but back-to-front.
So perhaps the target market is collectors who are into colourful accents and mirror writing.

In case this really is meant to be an animal, note the absence of eyes. I say it's probably a worm. [Unless the piece comes with a separate pair of googly eyes to be attached by the owner.]
But even as a snake, is this not a disappointingly anticlimactic one? It leaves me indifferent.
Now here is a snake that conveys a sense of drama and evokes emotion. It's a boa constrictor digesting an elephant — which I find quite frightening:

Anyway, lovely piece, but not his best by far. I don't know the price, but from what I feel, it's well above 10k, so as said above, at 10k you can buy a whole lot of art instead.

I like Josh’s work and really enjoyed seeing the video of him and his process. He’s a skilled craftsman no doubt. That said, I find his work more decorative, sort of like nice furniture, than I do anything that elicits any sort of profound emotion. He’s got a lot of big names in his corner driving the hype and PR.
