Perrotin has a strong hold on the sperling market and it’s nearly impossible to find singles. And if you think you’ll get a sperling for primary prices.. good luck.
A lucky few can but they’re perrotin grandfathered in. Personally, I love Friedman x Sperling. I collect them both so this was a no brainer. People are also overlooking the center canvas paint. It’s beautiful
Fair prices start for small singles around 10k these days. Originally they were 6 from source. The larger ones were 12k from source. I’ve been offered 20 for mine and passed. Hope that helps gauge pricing
