Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by MGK1 on Apr 26, 2019 19:30:42 GMT 1, Need to frame some cheap bit that are the same size as Trolleys/Morons/Sale Ends etc.
56cm x 76cm - on the off chance anyone has an empty frame or two that are this size in London I'd be happy to take them off your hands for a little cash.
PM me!

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by spirit on Aug 30, 2019 15:41:49 GMT 1, After over a decade on the wall, I've decided to part with my unsigned LA Trolleys.
Printed by Modern Multiples, there are a few differences from the regular B&W Trolleys, most notably the cream background. There were only 150 of these printed I believe, 50 of which were signed (please correct me if I'm wrong about that!). The LA editions are therefore rarer and considered by most to be superior to the editions later printed and released in London.
I bought it in 2008 and it has been framed on the wall ever since. Float mounted behind UV glass by Mr Frameman.
Condition is excellent - no visible marks or damage.
COA is in hand. I'm based near Teddington, London.
Looking for offers over £10k and a face to face deal.
Please PM if interested, photos to follow soon.

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by Adam The Collector on Aug 30, 2019 18:49:33 GMT 1, Your correct, MM print is superior to that of POW and anyone who has seen both prints know. 100 were printed for the show of which all were unsigned, 6 signed for the PP sets. Only a small handful were signed and given out to VIP's prior/during the show. The number while unknown is incredibly small, just a couple, not 50.

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by spirit on Aug 30, 2019 20:20:05 GMT 1, Thanks for the clarification on the amount signed adam. Mine is numbered in the 120's so I wonder if there are perhaps a few more signed than just a couple (given there are 100 unsigned).

Face to face would be best. But you can also use a proxy you both trust.

If you're going to use paypal, don't use friends and family, there's zero seller protection; goods and services does at least have some basic protection against chargebacks etc.

ps - I did some Googling to see what the print looked like (sorry I don't have every Banksy print memorized;) ) and found this. I have no idea if the info is accurate but worth a read. www.myartbroker.com/artist/banksy/trolleys/

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by monkeyman01 on Aug 31, 2019 7:24:56 GMT 1, Take your item to a paper conservationist and get a condition report completed. It may be worth having it cleaned or pressed depending on what they find. It will cost you a bit to an It of money (£250 - £300 depending on what needs doing). This makes the deal very open and transparent and there is a professional report to go with your image.
I would always do face to face even if that means travelling a bit. Also bank transfer upon collection and I would then transfer the funds straight out into another account before the art leaves you or you hand over the COA.

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by Lazarus II on Aug 31, 2019 7:38:51 GMT 1, I have bought prints on here and mostly been bank transfers and all have been fine. I trusted the seller, their reputation on here, my gut instinct and maybe i just got lucky every time.
If someone is overly concerned about being stung (not saying the OP is as he/she asking for feedback) then i would consign to the like of Andy at Castle Gallery. Pay a wee bit for peace of mind.

I'm the same and have also had a couple of face to face deals which have fallen through because the item wasn't as described.
These items are a lot of money so I would always say have it checked and inspected to make sure the condition is as described.

I am trying to gauge what it would go for privately.
Thanks for the help though.

You can do the math backwards and get the sale price without the premium...
