I like this one more than the first print and I say that with the 1st on my wall and not going fot this (though I prefer it). The lines are much cleaner and there aren’t any muddy areas like there is on the first. If anything it’s closer to what people wanted the first go around and didn’t get.

But to each there own.

I've a framer mate who has had dealings with them and their customers....fixing their frame-ups. His experiences scream fairly clueless....in it for the money and nowt much else.

I really like Ryan Hewett and I like the fact that they are increasing the edition size, as it lets more fans get an edition of his work.

Sadly I just don’t like this image, as others have already said.

Hopefully he release more soon!

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when they were discussing the edition size, and settled on 150. I wonder if Ryan was totally on board for this increase (maybe it was his idea?) or how much arm twisting the Unit did to get him to that number. They likely saw how fast the last print sold out and figured that the market is there for 150 this go around.

Feels like a risky move IMO, and one that could backfire if the print doesn't sell out.

Picked one up and I'm delighted. 

Love the image, the physical size and I was super impressed by the textures from the first print so hoping for more of the same.

What I don't like - The Unit delaying the launch from Thur to Friday, not shipping till the end of June and generally not showing much close up detail of the print - that alone would help sales.

I don't really give a shit if a print sells out - I only buy if it's going on the wall and I'm going to keep it long term.

Also of note, there are zero of these prints on eBay, so it wasn't a bunch of hypebeasts buying to immediately flip (not that they could at $550, but still).  This bodes well for his market.

Interesting, I hadn’t really thought about this possibility.  Are you implying that they would potentially only produce the number of prints that were purchased, and not the full run of 150 prints?

Never ceases to amaze me how you all don't get lets just say art not from a brit.... I know many of you are stuck on a little island near the North Sea but the continued ignorance astounds me.

Implying they marked as sold out because you don't get the piece but a sweettoof or paul instect print sells out and no one is surprised... GTFO of here

“You all” - on what basis do you determine that that’s what we all think?

Personally, I think Ryan is a fabulous artist. I owned an original painting years ago, before he had the success he now quite rightly enjoys. I prefer his earlier works, but that’s just a matter of personal taste.
