Ha, I wish no one knew about it as I paid top money and spent the half the day trying to buy one.  I think it was on a lot of peoples radar in the art world, I know of several galleries that told me they were going for them and planned on sticking them in their storage for several years! Its maybe not so much urban art, I don't think posting links of reserve list email links helped the cause of people that really wanted it and had registered for it but to be fair I think it was all done and dusted by then and probably to expensive for an impulse buy. On the positive side its a lovely print, massive size and I'm sure top quality. Its actually the largest edition size Jonas Wood has produced, he usually keeps them to less than 50 and very hard to buy from the previous publishers who didn't really openly sell them on an online shop.

If you guys missed the boat on Wood, I would suggest checking out Ryan Mrozowski. He's getting a lot of traction and has continued to create beautiful paintings. His show at Hannah Hoffman has been hugely successful.

Yes, I think Cirrus sold the last edition entirely before it "went on sale" or had any chance of being available online.  That's the game now with good artists.  Artists like Banksy and Wood sell to known buyers who must sell very quietly or hold for a reasonable amount of time before reselling.  The optimal result being the artwork being placed directly into permanent collections of influential collectors and future influential collectors.

Unfortunately, Mrozowski hasn't produced any prints that I know of. However, if you are buying $3k prints several times a year, you might consider purchasing one great painting at $12k only once a year. It is a lot of money, but it is the next step if you're accumulating more prints than you care to frame or hang.

Big auction results don't necessarily translate to high prices on artist prints, take Peter Doig for example.
