It’s cheap for a signed Jonas edition print - but maybe the original cost of £1500? (I think) was overpriced?

It's actually quite nuts how much people are paying for signed, or even unsigned, Jonas Wood posters when they can get this signed, editioned print so cheap.

To be honest I really think that my signed Kordansky poster from his 2014 show is a better image compared to the Bball print.

Of course it's a better image. It's a show poster using a standout image from the show, just with a bunch of extra text on it... but should it be worth anywhere near as much a real limited edition print? These prints seem very undervalued at the moment.

I think that's because it's not a typical, iconic Wood image. If this print had been a large, colorful plant or basketball or a combination of both, this print would be a lot more expensive.

And the poster is from an editon of only 6, so actually quite limited :-)

I'm not sure which poster this is exactly, but pretty sure it's not an "edition of 6". The gallery just had 6 signed ones to sell.

I just can't think of many examples where an artist's signed show poster could sell for more than a signed print edition.

The signed posters are nice though, no doubt.

More than 6 were signed too officially, and more unofficially. There's no numbering or documentation stating it's an edition. Agre that the studio etching is undervalued currently.

Ah, that could be true of course.

But I still have the mail and the sales pdf from Kordansky that state that mine is from an edition of 6 (5 unframed, 1 framed). They sold those at the NY Art Book Fair.

We will, from time to time, post new works from exciting young artists from the region. Hope they can get some attention and support from this influential forum.

My one is mint stored flat from new. Depends where you sell it but 450 is a good price they go for a lot more
