I'd only like to add, I'm guessing people will have read the description that POW gave the morons image:
"Banksy makes a cr*p picture about how people pay a lot of money for cr*p pictures, which someone then ends up paying a lot of money for. A portion of irony eating itself, anyone?"
Says it all, I think. I love the concept of this piece. As I said previously, this whole debate just fuels the flames and gives the work even more impact!

Banksy Morons Print, by Run Pig Run on Mar 30, 2007 16:43:15 GMT 1, people would buy a plain white piece of paper or a picture of a large dog turd if they thought Bankys had anything to do with it. people buy to either make money on it, swap it for something better or because they want the kudos of owning a banksy. there may be a few who like it, personally i like it and it has a little story behind it, the brown one looks a bit pooey though. but I don't think any of the LA prints will become 'classic' Banksys.

I've got Grannies and Applause and like them both, I think Grannies being the better of the two IMO.

Oh, I forgot about Flag, I've got that too, I like it.
It's not a very complicated print being halftone screened and single colour, but the image is great and the silver paper adds something special IMO.

Where'd you get that idea?
A lot of people like their Flag prints and theres many in the Get Your Banksy's Out thread framed up, the frames probably cost as much or more than the print, so that shows a liking for it I think.
