Short answer there is not a lot. He's made quite a few multiples, like the drum machine cassette, and of course there are the balls of scrunched up paper, which come in varying forms and edition sizes. A friend sold one of his great works a couple of years ago, it was the original digital metronome piece - think it sold for about £25,000 (as far as I recall that was later an edition of 3)

Not really urban art but some of you may be interested in the Vinyl Factory's edition of 100 records each hand painted and signed by Martin Creed and Nick McCarthy of Franz Ferdinand.
£100 is rather cheap for an original Martin Creed.

It is certainly cheap for a hand finished Creed work of art. Especially when you consider his rolled up pieces of paper are £185 + delivery!!!

Nice post, I remember seeing him play at the Old Blue Last & he hadn't popped into my head since... just checked the link & spent an enjoyable half an hour reading about him on the net. Interesting to see in the video link back ground that he has a team of artists doing the painting for him... I had a friend who used to do some work at his studio a few years ago & he got her to colour in blank sheets of A4 paper with a felt tip pen until it ran out, an interesting way to get paid!

I'm surprised the Martin Creed poster hasn't sold more and also wondered about it being a litho print as a factor. Also very surprised the Hume hasn't gone up - lovely print IMO. I might pop down to Vinyl Factory later to check these box sets out.

Could not resist this and it arrived today. Really nice little original by Martin. Can't decide to frame with the signed sleeve or not.

There used to be a seller on eBay who sold frames designed to hold LP's. A few forumites bought them for their radar rat LP's. I think they were £20 and open at the top to change the LP you display.

Always wanted one to frame my Bambaata renegades of funk 12" ;D
