Mine had hand written address in black felt pen direct onto the tube, also Royal Mail date stamps around nov 2017 if it was from the POW sale obviously and not bought earlier.

i don't think you can always expect an original tube as you could buy these 5 at a time at the start of the POW closing sale and before then too when they were generally available. Not all orders came with pow tissue paper either.

I think it’s very hard to spot unless it was purchased when prices was not worth copies

Probably better of not buying and if you like soup cans or any poster
Just buy a poster on eBay for cheap frame it up and it’s just as good

In the past it's been difficult to weed out fakes and identify them, but not impossible. Historically there've been a few good threads on the subject which are not difficult to bring up using the 'search' function if someone was interested.

With a bit of diligence about the seller and the soup you can still pick up authentic ones under 2k.

The quality of these are still quite nice, and I don't think that is entirely easy to reproduce perfectly.

I agree with not putting the info out there in fears of helping the forgers , wasn’t my intention. I just have one from a couple years back I got before they were blowing up .

I’m cool with knowing there’s at least some ways some people could tell if real or not .

Do you really think someone who is going to forge it would not have an authentic copy ? If you’re putting all the effort and time to create a copy I think you could spend a little money getting a real one.

Of course they would but I’m talking about possible subtle nuances that most forgers aren’t aware of when trying to reproduce it

My thoughts exactly ,Im sure master forgers don't rely on UAA for any information.

Google it mate you will get a better response ,I have a soup cans poster and I wouldn't know the difference

unless I had a fake next to it to compare the difference.

Hi All,

I picked up a soup can poster with a 2007 POW tube and associated paperwork which all appears to check out. Looking at my poster and a couple of images I can find of a close up of the signature on line they all appear to have the same marks on the letters in each image.

I have attached a couple of examples.

Would anyone know if this is a tell of a fake that is being repeated or if they all came like this? Could anyone with an original take a look and see if these match?

Just wanted to compare to one I purchased as the pictures matched the ones advertised by a known scammer and I was not sure if it should set off alarm bells.
