This is my favorite Invader print for many reasons - mainly for it's intricacies in characters and how it harkens back to being a kid with the graph paper grid. Congrats to everyone who was able to get one...I should have notified my bank as my card didn't go through at check out. Can't wait to see some close-up shots and frame-ups from members.

Why would they not just fulfill the orders that were missing shipping address due to site error, rather than put them on the site again so a random person would get it? It was very surprising to me. I'd understand if they were out of stock, but that wasn't hte case. Doing my head innnnn

Even if you don't like the image, I think you can appreciate having a print from one of the pioneers in street art, of which presumably most of the people on here are fans. I also think it is human nature to want to own something that is relatively rare and valued by society. That's why most people would prefer an AP #/3, over a regular edition #/100, over an open edition. Obviously, I don't think you want that to be your main motivation, but I find it hard to believe that many (or any?) of the people on here are entirely unaffected by those considerations.
In any case, although I agree the print might seem boring at first blush, the more I look at it and think about it the more I like it and agree it's one of his best prints. The minimalism is aesthetically pleasing and lends itself to framing, and the repetition of the space invader characters makes the image seem iconic. I also love its self-referential subject matter. It's almost like a dissection or self-analysis of Invader's work. After spending some time looking at it I see Space Vibes, Space One, etc. with a new perspective.
I'm very much not trying to rub it in for the people who weren't able to get one. Just my two cents. I'm also still really hoping something doesn't go wrong with my order.

Cryptocurrency is very similar if you think about it. Not a great time to buy ETH :-). As most of us, missed the print. Was at my desk 5 minutes before, had to leave. I love his invasion concept but I think I am only attracted to his tile works on the streets. Just doesn't translate to paper, do they?

I like Invader a lot but as Banksy and others mastodons, some prints are great , some prints are weak, some , as wine , are better with the time, others , as Champagne , are made to drink/like it already, etc etc ...
Then the bottle is empty but we keep secretly the cork in souvenir of the Joyce and hyping moment ... salud! ๐พ ๐ฅ

As far as framing advice, i think it would look best if you put it in a sturdy brown box, very secure, using acid free materials, and on the outside of that box, put my address on it, and drop it off to the post. |

This art must be consumed in the street
The paper support should only legitimize a work that was originally carried out in its original place (invasion of mosaics for invader, stencils for others ... etc).
Who has ever seen stencils of Kunstrasen on the wall? Even if I love this artist and find his work relevant, but I ask the question ...
Let him enter the museums and let the general public find out ... OK.
But this principle of letting gallery owners, agents and others intervene in the process engenders these drifts ... exorbitant prices sometimes for overvalued artists, people who speculate on the short or medium term ... The speculative bubble that s' Is created is destined to collapse or at least not to follow this rate of progression. All this is too young and fragile.
