New Banksy - UK Election Souvenir Special, by ed on Jun 26, 2017 23:09:23 GMT 1, Rouen Cathedral, I'm not sure what you're referring to in the second bribe?
Before I go on a slightly drunk rant I thought it best to ask you to clarify? ☺️

New Banksy - UK Election Souvenir Special, by Slammer on Jun 26, 2017 23:09:41 GMT 1, £100 million per vote in the commons. If this spending was fairly proportioned across the UK (£1Bn is 3% of NI economy) it equates to over £50Bn of extra spending. I know it's not as simple as this but I work in a charity that is mainly funded by govt. organisations and in the last 6 years our budgets have been cut by 25% for the greater good of deficit reduction. Cash for power so you can continue to slash services. A fecking disgrace. So shame on first bribe but cheer on the second? That wasn't the point of the post. I don't think Banksy or the Government should be allowed to do it.

New Banksy - UK Election Souvenir Special, by ed on Jun 26, 2017 23:33:52 GMT 1, Rouen Cathedral if the initial 'banksy bribe' was what you meant, I just don't think this thread has given enough credit to banksy and the level of thought he puts into the things he does.
It's that initial reaction Vs layers of thought thing that I'm still trying to get my head around.
This forum has had 31 (!) pages about the rights and wrongs of various ways of buying votes. The thread starts with a vote about whether it's right or wrong! It's brought up morality, the differing standards expected of a 'normal' citizen Vs elected representatives, the power of powerful people and so on.
I am a Bristol West resident, I'm a union member and voted twice for corbyn to be leader of the Labour party, I voted labour in 2015 and 2017, I might of taken a photo of my ballot paper (disclaimer, I totally didn't...) and if it meant I coulda got a banksy print...wonderful.
Do I think that was the point of what he did? Do I think he's sitting on a load a prints that he was gonna send to people?
To qoute Reuben Dangoor.... Nahmate

That makes sense. I agree. But this thread had a lot of praise for banksys 'attempt' along with continuous hatred for the same thing on the other side.

New Banksy - UK Election Souvenir Special, by Deleted on Jun 27, 2017 8:22:00 GMT 1, Does it seem a bit strange to anyone that the Government bribe the DUP to vote with the Conservatives on key issues(by giving them one billion pounds). But Banksy can't offer a free print to a few people to vote against the Conservatives. It seems a bit off to me. £100 million per vote in the commons. If this spending was fairly proportioned across the UK (£1Bn is 3% of NI economy) it equates to over £50Bn of extra spending. I honestly don't know how they get away with these things
Take your blinkers off people
Like lambs to the slaughter
Baaaaaah

New Banksy - UK Election Souvenir Special, by kaos on Jun 27, 2017 11:49:11 GMT 1, Interesting how the self appointed guardians of morality, liberty and democracy who were so viciously vociferous on Banksy offering a piece of paper (which may or may not have had any value) are now so quiet on this outrageous bribe for votes! Where are they hiding now?!

New Banksy - UK Election Souvenir Special, by Deleted on Jun 27, 2017 12:07:06 GMT 1, 100% agree about the dodgy pandering to the DUP's demands. In reality the DUP has got the Tories over a barrel and i'm sure there are quite a few Tories who will never forgive May for the badly run election campaign. The Tories have exposed themselves to the nation regarding the dishonest Brexit campaign run by Johnson and the campaign by Farage proved he is just a con man.
There again all parties politicians lie to get elected, even Labour.
They lie and make promises they break to get elected and tell people what they want to hear. Then once elected they turn on the British people.
Bribing people to vote a certain way is illegal and should be illegal. Same as bribing police or any other public servant.

What's with your disclaimer in parenthesis? Seems like you want outrage but think banksy did nothing wrong. I'm confused

I take it you are no longer waiting for them to become a joke party ?

So I expect that the print order was cancelled.
