Chinnock Hearts...Great image. I've got a print but the size of the canvas has put me off. It's tiny!

I guess its expensive but Martins prices seem to rising pretty consistently, bear in mind its also a gallery price. If it wasn't my guess would be that these would go for around the £500 mark but that's only my guess. I bought a couple of Canvases of Martin last year - lets just say i'm glad I got them when the prices were more reasonable!

its fair to say that Kunstrasen pieces are remarkably well done, have a great look, original pieces.. And the days of £17 pieces by the artist are long gone..

I don't have a problem with a gallery and an artist putting things out there at a price to actually make money.. After all, after months of doing his work for love, I can't see any reason in the artist trying to make a living from his work.. I for one think he has a great future.

if it's too much, don't buy it.. I dare say these will be gone in a flash irrespective.. 

The reason being that his work is good

Well said Coach and Graham H - couldn't agree more. Great to see things progressing for Kunstrassen and £100 at a gallery price is reasonable. Maybe people are used to K's work being cheaper previosly but he was doing that for the love of it and i doubt making much. Things have moved on, good luck with it all Phil - a top chap and artist

The price is the price, you don't have a price for direct and a gallery price. The galley earn there cut, why would you buy from a gallery if the artist undercuts by selling direct ? It's a false economy for the Artist to work that way and also very short sighted.

Apologies if it wasn't clear in my post barryh - I meant the price on the secondary market and not the price directly from the artist. Martin mostly sells through galleries these days however he was still selling stuff directly up to just over a year ago

Completely missed out on everything as soon as the site went live. However, I noticed the Icy & Sot White and Grey showed a message that they were in someone else's cart and buyers had ten minutes to finish the purchase so I just kept hitting "add to cart" and right at ten minutes one went through...pretty psyched as I've missed every big release this year (with exception of my $80 organic t-shirt).
