Elisabeth Hoff, by corblimeylimey on Apr 28, 2007 20:06:20 GMT 1, My first thoughts were they're too expensive, but then again these are really well produced Lambda prints (although she wrongly calls them lamba prints on her site) ready mounted and framed, having said that they're still a little pricey though compared to slinkachu photo prints on BRP (£150)
They just don't do it for me though, it seems more like commercial photography than art.
I agree with you Johnas, but they just didn't get him ;D

Elisabeth Hoff, by romanywg on Apr 29, 2007 11:40:07 GMT 1, That was a great show. Wonderful to see all their faces when they were shown the 'roadkill' photos. i really liked the paint splattered lips but as corblimeylimey said, it was more like commercial photography than art. My wife (Interior designer) is in the process of buying one of the horse photos of Tim Flach for a client.

Elisabeth Hoff, by finsburyparkranger on Apr 29, 2007 12:41:38 GMT 1, The sugar daddy laid into her loads back in the board room. Rightly so but couldn't help think the whole show wasn't doing her any favours. After reading this though i guess its another testament to 'all publicity is good publicity'. Does anyone know the link to Dan Baldwin and Sirallen? I read somewhere that he once said Dan Baldwin was among the top five British artists? Anyone got the low down? Was Dan involved in a show once?

Elisabeth Hoff, by irf2112 on Apr 29, 2007 18:35:07 GMT 1, Way to expensive for a first timer (The lips I'm on about). The reason why she didn't give up her 'black book of contacts' on the Apprentice was because she probably hasn't got any - when it comes to selling art that is... She was slated on the show (and the after show). Even the art critic said the stuff was crap.
After all this she still mentions the Apprentice on her site.
