Comments and queries that may assist all parties:
1. Did you purchase the print directly from Pictures On Walls? If not, how many previous owners were there?
For some collectors, the less often a print has changed possession, the more desirable it is. Psychological factors aside, fewer owners typically means fewer times the artwork was handled — and therefore the less likely it is to have incurred damage.
2. What is the condition of the print?
3. Is the print accompanied by any supporting provenance documentation? If so, please describe.
4. Who is the framer of the print?
Identifying the framer will let potential buyers make a better-informed judgement call about the quality of framing and the types of materials (standard or archival) likely to have been used.
5. Can you provide details about the glazing (brand, product name or code)?
This information would allow relevant features to be checked, like whether the glazing is anti-UV, non-reflective, anti-static, etc.
6. Since you plan to ship framed, presumably the glazing is acrylic?
In case it's glass, note that (even if carefully packed) shipping framed will be high-risk. Many seasoned buyers would consider such a risk to be disproportionate, a false economy of time and convenience. Cracking or shattering of the glass during transit could easily turn into a headache for you and the buyer.
[As a separate point, always make sure to double-check the exclusion-of-liability clauses in your shipping contract. Plenty of courier companies will happily take your money for both shipping and insurance, but then later reject your loss, damage or destruction claim — because the artwork is one of their excluded items, which absolves them of all responsibility.]
7. Besides price, the novelty matting might impede a swift sale.
An informed collector or dealer will likely insist on checking the print in person, or having it checked on their behalf by someone local. This will be to assess the level of light damage, if any (from both UV and visible light), that is noticeable when the matt is removed. In addition, they'll probably want to verify the type and amount of adhesive used on the print.
It's therefore worth clarifying whether inspection outside of the frame is an option. And, if so, in which city and country the print is located.

Reason I ask is that individually if split and sold the total would add up well short of the £80k.. Id say some galleries may have taken a look at these and then split them as I just think it may be hard to find ' that ' individual who wants to swap a top tier banksy print or £80k on them..
This isnt an attempt to bash the price, I was just interested to know how the price was decided upon.
Ive had the gold and silver in the past ( bought secondary - not on the VIP list ) and they are really nice ..
