Crucifact or Crucifiction?, by misteraitch on Mar 23, 2007 16:23:19 GMT 1, I think all religions start off good and basically the same with the general message of, be good, helpful, peace loving and treat the planet and other humans (and some cases animals) with respect. Somehow religion has become very twisted, and IMO become an excuse to do all the opposite of what I've just mentioned above.
I couldn't have put it better if I'd tried to draw it on a stamp ;D

Crucifact or Crucifiction?, by tomjedimaster on Mar 23, 2007 23:34:36 GMT 1, Hey H, I'm a recovered Cathaholic, born-again atheist (tongue somewhat in cheek). I find religious imperfections, contradictions, and down-right fictions infinitely fascinating...and therefore love your interpretations of the icons.
I was thinking of sending my mom the sacred art 2, but I would be forced to surrender my future pension (aka inheritance) to building a new church within an islamic state. dohh!!

Crucifact or Crucifiction?, by goffy on Mar 24, 2007 10:12:59 GMT 1, The first day cover is next on my shopping list. Next I would like to see a first day cover with Mohammed on. As soon as he has finished his son Dodi and Diana's court case.

PMSL ;D
Well, this series is doing me no favours - I'm now down 6 respect points - it looks like Christians don't forgive after all!

Crucifact or Crucifiction?, by Art-el on Mar 24, 2007 11:17:33 GMT 1, Ahhh good old Forgiveness one of the first values to go out of the window when things get rough.
At this rate you're gonna be sacrificed. You obviously to start a new thread similar to the Banksy one titled.
Get your religion out for the lads? before you start a chatroom Holy war.
See you tomorrow in the usual place, Right side four pews back?

Crucifact or Crucifiction?, by goffy on Mar 24, 2007 13:59:13 GMT 1, You've got respect from me too. Don't be afraid of upsetting people Mr H, controversy is good and hopefully sells. Let's face it you are getting more feedback from this set than the previous. And as Dan Baldwin said in his latest show 'F**K RELIGION. You are not alone Mr H.

The lyrics can be read on this link... www.musicsonglyrics.com/C/crasslyrics/crassrealityasylumlyrics.htm If art is about inspiring feelings and reactions then you've hit the mark.
