The last copy that sold at auction bombed (excuse the pun) and hammered at around £22k. Might be worth waiting to see if the market stabilises or picks back up otherwise you’ll be hit with a load of lowball offers.

I agree the market has stabilized.  I'm not aware of the hammer on 22K.  Possibly condition issues or third rate auction house?  Bomb hugger unsigned in mint condition went for 65GBP all in, mid September, Sotheby's.  Auctions are all over the board.  I've established my asking price based on current US gallery offerings, which I will beat.  I will cover crating and shipping if in the lower 48 states.

Oddly it was in excellent condition and sold about a week after the Sotheby's sale at Christies. Like you say auctions have been all over the place though. It's a great print and at $48k a good price. Sure it won't hang around long. Best of luck.

might be wrong but I think he means lower 48 states away from Hawaii and Alaska - although maybe he does mean price ?
