Use some blue tac and stick it on the fridge until sold😎

If worried about handling until sold buy a art portfolio case and use acid free sleeves , will keep nice and flat and safe

i have edited original post as i have had some feedback on pricing


Seem that people have paid between 9 and 11k


Therefore i am pricing mine at £18k . £10,000

9 and 11 + the big fee's, which should be about another 25% on top

I know one that was sold by Gallery over the summer for 12.5K but apparently it was minty fresh and never framed

I've had this little beauty in my possession since 2004/2005.  



I bought it directly from POW.

It has Pest Control certificate of ownership

It has been framed behind museum quality glass for most of it's life.

The last 5 years it's also been in a box.

You can see a post from 2006 about it here

I'm hoping to downsize to a WSM or something.

If you want it, I'm accepting decent offers over the next few weeks and can hopefully agree on a price with someone.

With a poorly-advised novelty mount like that, experienced potential buyers will ask you to remove the print from its frame so they can inspect it in person.

To minimise time-wasting, you may wish to get the print unframed beforehand and take plenty of high-res photos of both the front and back.

Possible condition issues will include:

(i) staining or burn from the mount (even if the material is acid-free);
(ii) UV light damage (even if your glazing is anti-UV);
(iii) natural light damage; and
(iv) adhesive damage.

I know, the shaped frame was my idea over 10 years ago. Probably wouldn't go for that nowadays

Agreed with the above. Many time wasters. Print may be in excellent condition despite the unusual mounting. Still though, people will try to use any excuse they can to beat you down on price. Don't let them even have the opportunity/chance. Get that fucker unframed.

Sadly I think unless the seller is very lucky, it's highly likely there is light-staining to the sheet, 10+ years under that mount doesn't bode well. Perhaps crack it open and post some pictures.

Great job on the framing and good work on that mount, it looks great, it must have been a bitch cutting that haha. Regardless of any worries people have about the staining underneath, at least you've had it up on the wall and you've had decent use out of it (not including the 5 years packaged away ). GLWTS.
