Banksy • Gangsta Rat Print, by darjeeling on Feb 9, 2008 17:04:12 GMT 1, Un-freaking believable - a gangsta rat sold on ebay for $4000 just a few days ago - sold mine a little while ago with a BIN of $1500 and it was up there for almost 7 days before anyone would take the freaking plunge and buy it. I've seen about 2-3 signed rats sell for $6000-7000 over the past couple of months and overnight people now think that's what an unsigned rat is worth. Do yourself a favor and save yourself some money and take a nice vacation or something. It ain't worth it anymore.

Thanks for the link INDU - I don't suppose this site is one of those places that share in any of the revenues when people buy through linking from your site is it? I mean you can just look at it on ebay why should we go through this site so that you can profit?
Sorry if I'm wrong but your only contribution to the forum has been providing a link to this site that looks like an affiliate / revenue sharing scheme.

The only trouble I can see is that ebay may be a little light on prints the next few weeks because I'm sure most people will be trying to get their prints to Bonhams. ...although Bonhams I'm sure won't be able to handle the flood and if that starts to happen they will start to hit the bay in desperation. Auction Houses consciously try to make things not appear very readily available so they will be selective in what they sell I'm sure.
It would also be nice to see some more Banksy's released on POW and soon so that ebay will start getting flooded by the flippers and bring prices down a bit. Just have patience.

Bonhams aren't going to take a shit load of Banksy prints. They're only going to ever have 5 or so in a single sale & I imagine that they will be supplied be existing clients.

There is something strange going on with the number though. I had a Signed Gangster Rat direct from POW and it was numbered out of /150.
