Nice job with the framing there DMTR. Yeah and the upside is if you ever remove the print the fading that will have occurred around the drips will be a lasting memory of your frame choice. Not for me I am afraid but just my opinion.
This piece has always had 99% UV glass, so, hopefully, fading won't be a problem.

*Edit - Are you saying never let a mount go over the border of a print? Because, if you can't count on UV glass, then fading will always be an issue unless you float each piece.

I thinks standard window glass filters out around 40/ 60% of harmful light entering your home but then you have to factor in home lighting which then will pass through your frame glass. Truvue con clear is around 99% effective and standard float glass again about 60/ 70% effective from memory?

After nearly a year fighting with pest control they have come to the verdict that my print which i have owned for four years and have the original receipt is a backdoor print (how i dont know) and will not grant a COA for it so i have decided to sell as it is.
Ive no idea what these are going for so i will leave it to the members to state their price.
there have been a few on a well known auction site and one called napalm went for ยฃ786 on april 21st.
print comes with original receipt from art republic its stamped with the pow stamp
will post or you can collect in person.
payment by paypal or cash on collection

They supplied direct from POW back in the day so you would think it would be no problem probably some fuck up with two prints having the same number...

yes it is numbered and the receipt matches with the shop copy. as i sent them a scan and they matched it up.
But still PC maintain its a backdoor print. even though its stamped by pow which means its not a backdoor print its either a duplicate number. (as my many emails to pc telling them of other prints that had been re-numbered showed ) or it was sold by suspect means by a member of pow, IE: ben e. or steph who were caught selling prints by other means and were fired from pow. (theres some posts about it somewhere)
either way it was sold by pow so they should have a duty of care with their products
even with that PCs computer is still saying no.

have to Grin and bear it. PC Reap a lot of income from validating, but understand they need to Foil backdoor prints. Still, i'd be Purple with rage if I had bought a print in good faith and it was Chalked off as being dodgy.
