I would urge anyone to get a quote from an alternative local framers and observe the results as well as the saving, that is all i am saying.
Decent framing need not be expensive plain and simple.

I am a great believer in speaking as you find and all I can say is that all my dealings with Gary have been 100% above board and I think he provides a great service and all the prints he has done for me I really am happy with ? The fact that he picks up and delivers back is a huge plus for me and I like the way he just gets on with it and frames the print how he thinks it will suit the frame as opposed to what colour floor / wall you have etc.
I am sorry you have had a bad experience but he has framed around 50 pieces for me over the years and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Just to confirm that I have looked back through my invoices and I was actually charged ยฃ350 for this frame job by Gary as opposed to the ยฃ400 I stated.
I cannot believe that this would possibly make a difference to anyone wanting to buy the print but the last thing I want to do is mislead anyone and this was a genuine error on my part.
I think its also worth making the point that I have had over 50 prints framed by Gary and still believe this represents superb value. As I said before it has Museum Glass and for that price he picked up and delivered back and I still maintain to get that done for ยฃ400 to the same standard anywhere else would be a struggle.
Most importantly it is absolutely ready to hang (!!) - have had two decent offers but not quite what I want so please feel free to PM.

CG I am very disappointed with your post and accusation. I did not come on here to spoil the thread with jv. All I did was post a genuine question re Gary's framing costs. Lobster answered it above and we all move on.
But, after getting personal and calling me 'fat' of which I have no idea why this is necessary on an Internet forum full of strangers (?) I think you should be apologising and removing your comment.

If you feel they are too high then don't buy, or you could quote previous sales to show they are high and ask me to consider lowering them?

I think you need to expand on this or let silky know your ficticious facts to take necessary action. I have helped many on here as others have helped me and this is what makes it feel a 'community' to some of us. We have shared some pm's in the past and I thought you would feel I was one of the good guys. Obviously this is not the case but I have tried to answer your personal / vitriolic posts as honestly and non confrontationally as possible.
I therefore ask silky / harveyn / the other mods to look at my previous posts (of which none have been deleted or edited) and if they feel I have been bullying or intimidating let me know. If however, they agree that I am the victim of personal, unfounded comments and accusations, then I would ask them to deal with these in the same manner.

If something for sale is overpriced you are one the first to notice, yet when selling you are never sure of prices? two things at the opposite end of the spectrum! cynical person may assume you know the score regarding prices yet seem to forget in the hope someone naive will come along and pay silly prices

If thats not enough I have " Alsabar " or "JV" posting how actually he knows of 4 other gold flags for sale and that I am incorrect about the edition size ( although for some reason he includes formica flags in his quota which are clearly a different print altogether ) - all I said was I had not seen one GF come up for sale at any of the UA auctions or in private including this forum for some time !!! What makes me laugh is they always follow these comments up with " oh and good luck with the sale " - LOL - not only are they busy fxxxxxx but they are gutless as well ?

What makes me laugh is they always follow these comments up with " oh and good luck with the sale " - LOL - not only are they busy fxxxxxx but they are gutless as well ?

I did disagree with someone on WK re a religious thread but did not ask for them to be banned etc... we all have different views & beliefs as we have both mentioned in our posts.
