None of them. These are a big disappointment, especially compared to Art Editions A and B from the first release. Having seen many of the other iPad drawings he has done over the years, I really wonder how these were chosen. I wish they had chosen some like the following instead:

I like the snow one the most. I think they’re all well priced and the signed editioned book which comes with it has a fair amount of value.
The spikey plant from the previous series is a really weak piece so not a great example of an auction result. Plenty of the others sell between £10-15k. Main thing about Hockney is colour - you can’t compare them with the fairytale etchings.

I think 15k is the peak and the one above this the lowest

I think I work the average of the last 4 out at around £11,000 incl premiums

A Jonas W would cost more. None of them remotely near what Hockney has achieved.

There’s a very broad market of people who would buy these many of which have white hair and don’t care that it’s your inheritance. There’s a world of people who buy art without considering secondary value. The majority of people on this forum buy art to make money which is fine but it doesn’t necessarily represent everyone - just look at the success of the affordable art fairs.
