Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by Γ
gent Γacardi on Mar 25, 2008 21:42:05 GMT 1, I don't recall Christians burning effigies in the street and killing people for allegedly mocking the Prophet Muhammad. Could it be Christians are an easier target with less likelihood of repercussions....i agree about organized religion though. Load of bollox innit. and at least its not skulls and guns
I believe that religion has its bases in good morals/teachings (e.g. "be good to one another" and all that goody-goody crap), but the people that represent it has turned it into what it is today. "God is love, and God loves everyone"... but if you don't go to church and give an offering, then "God will punish you".
Woah, wait a minute... whatever happened to that lovey-dovey god and all that "hate the sin, but love the sinner" blab?
And let's face it... if there were a god with divine justice and all that stuff, the world wouldn't be in such a sorry shape today. "God has his reasons for doing things". Well, a statement that can neither be proven nor disproven, way to be infallible. Show me the reason why god will allow a baby to be born with a birth defect, only to expire within minutes of his birth. Surely it's not because that child has committed a grave sin in his 60 seconds of life in this world? And what, it's to punish the parents? Way to go god, sacrificing one of your very own completely innocent "flesh and blood" to teach somebody a lesson. That's a noble act, indeed!
Just my opinion, of course. I grew up in a very religious family, and the more I grow up and the more I learn about the world and the people in it, the more dubious I get that god actually exists.
Sorry for the rant... I'll shut up now

Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by Deleted on Sept 12, 2007 11:18:31 GMT 1, i think this is great, i would love one to go next to my lv child. for me this is so much better than morons and any other ironic stuff i have seen. i recently bought an lv canvas and i have to say that it i love it. but at the same time i felt a bit of a tosser. it wasnt cheep and paying so much for something that is protesting against people paying lots of money on stuff, whilst children are dying of hunger has i must admit played on my mind. having said that beejoir if you are reading this, get me down for a canvas if you do any m8.

Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by Strange Al on Sept 12, 2007 11:29:29 GMT 1, I only saw the pics on the forum when they cropped up the other day, but you're right - Curley did post a pic of it weeks ago.
I think the new bit of info is Frankie's assertion yesterday that it's a new Beejoir.

It makes sense to me that it was beejoir. The image represents exactly where his head seemed to be when he deleted his forum membership. I would imagine this image will never make it to print and thats why, for me, it blows morons out of the water.

Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by Deleted on Sept 12, 2007 14:06:03 GMT 1, i think it is just beejoir(if it is him) realising people paying thousands/millions on art isnt any different to people paying loads of cash for handbags. for me the lv child is a classic example of a protest kind of backfiring, which is partly why i love it so much. the lv signed print reguarly hits Β£2k and there are still hungry kids in the world. this remix of the lv child is a very strong ironic image, which i am now off to nominate in the best street art catagory of the print of the year awards.
