May be worth having a look at Bloomsbury auctions. A friend Angus does the Mod' Brit art section, but there's there's a guy called Alexander Hayter that deals with the contemporary print side of things.

I had a painting of some fat bird naked on a sofa I sold at bootsale couple of months ago some geezer called Lucien painted it.
Woulda swapped that for it. ;D

Yes Dale is right, Bloomsbury had about 7 Bacon prints in their sale in July, prices were from about £4,000 to I think around £25,000. I'd give them a call, they have a few more sales this year so I am sure you can pick something up.

strange as this guy is so obviously the inspiration to a couple of artists who are discussed at length on here,
i went yesterday, been a fan for a while, but not seen many of his paintings in the flesh, having done so, i now realise why he is considered to be on a par with the greats, the colours, technique,& scale of the work is breathtaking, its a bit of a cliche, but if you only see one show, etc,
stunning, simply stunning.

because of this thread I took a better look at Bacon, his work is pretty amazing. Mostly displayed at the tate it seems

Saw this at the weekend. Only previously seen his works in isolation and it never really gelled with me, but after seeing so many great pieces in one place...wow...I was genuinely transfixed by some. I was fairly exhausted by the end, there is a lot to take in and it would warrant a 2nd visit when the crowds are smaller. Amazing, in summary
