Crazy price for a screen print. That makes the counter editions seem like a very good deal Bigger though, and a more classic Emin image. Although there's similar Counter Editions prints I prefer... and out of my price range now any way!  |

My fear is that these beautiful, big prints may not sell out and hence not raise the full amount. Let's hope I am wrong.
Living in London, the shipping&insurance cost would properly piss me off.
Lovely print but I can't deny the feeling that, for a fundraiser, and edition of 300 at around 1,500 to 2,000GBP would have been an easier / more efficient way to raise money.
My fear is that these beautiful, big prints may not sell out and hence not raise the full amount. Let's hope I am wrong.

I think the last year or two has definitely seen this rise. I think she's entering another level and people will get priced out of primary, if not already.

Sometimes people need time to catch up I think. Emin is a multi million pound bluechip artist with countless museums shows and sell out exhibitions, whereas someone like Harland Miller is not, but his edition of two hundred and fifty at 7500 sells out.
