Art Wanted, by Forbidden Love on Sept 14, 2012 11:10:12 GMT 1, I thought I would never get one of these but it is one banksy that i wont be buying anytime soon and i do really like the image. for ยฃ60 its great to be able to get a screen printed version. i thought put it up and not worry about it knowing its worth little, yes ill know its not the real shit but again it is just this image and the fact its screenprinted at least some art process has gone into it. and ill know ive still got my other Banksys, no way i could buy a collection of these but i could live with this one on the wall and think it would be great headstopper.

The original has lots of white gaps showing where it's not been lined up right, and the black part, kates neck, drops down below the blue box, a little, Both show only one ear. Gotta love that ear !!!!! ;D ;D  Personally i think the WCP version is pretty tidy, for what it is, a reproduction, you couldnt get it exactly the same, unless you had the original artwork !

Here is a purple one, this was sent to me some time back by the owner, think he said its a A/P, it has the hair part the same as the WCP, on the left, looking at the picture, and the black part does not line up, also there is a faint line around the hair. My guessing is that the A/P'S are exactly what they are, test's ? getting the colours and the matching up correct ?

Nice thanks for that , i have been looking at these and not noticed the hair on the AP's .

Thanks for posting that, clearly shows Kates right ear, in pink as i stated earlier. Also clearly shows the 2 areas that have been blacked out under each ear
Additional - Have just checked a picture of Warhols Marilyn, the areas under Kates ears are artifacts left over from the lifting of Marilyns hair onto Kate. Originally these were Marilyns earings.

Kate Moss is a true British Icon , as is Banksy and the Monroe prints are iconic too, Whack them all in a blender , what you get is an iconic piece for todays audience..

I agree, cant see no right ear. I am starting to like WCP version better, the colours seem to be richer and their lining up of the different parts seem better. I guess if your paying รยฃ30 grand you would want to see a right ear! ;D ;D ;D

Kate's known for her extra large right ear, If you notice all her photoshoots rarely feature this ear, This is the Original meant for production but whilst having dinner round Kate's Banksy was forced to back track and remove said offending ear. he then painted her bathroom/frontroom etc for a birthday present.
