Does anyone have one of the colour ways of Watchamacallit by Petro?

It was released by POW in 2010 and I seem to recall this being this painted on the building outside POW on Commercial Street. If someone has a photo of this, it would be good to share. 🙌

Never liked the coloured prints myself — but I think this patterned imagery did work well outdoors, in a more ascetic and stark monochrome.



The images below are from 2010–2011, with the Pictures On Walls exterior on Commercial Street shared between Petro and Anthony Lister.

While I'm no longer certain about the chronology, Petro may have had the entire space first, with Lister subsequently taking over a couple of shutter areas.

There are Patrick but they tend to be precisely the ones you’ve said you’re not interested in…..and you said sub 10 in your post not around 10. I just wouldn’t want a forum member who is a bit desperate to sell for below market value that’s all. But I wish you good luck with the search….a Toxic Mary with some small issues is probably your best chance…

Cheers for your message. I had someone else help me out if I wanted (by giving me it for free), but I don’t think I would get round to framing yet so will be one I revisit again in the future. Still a great print and a memory of the POW days. 😀
