why would you consider my opinion as acidic? I certainly am not sour or bitter, I am not doing the name calling or tyre kicking thing, I am calling these exactly as they are - and they are FAKES, as they are not produced or sold by the original artist or anyone associated by the him/her, or with his/her consent.
If you like the GWB image so much then go to Banksy's website, and download the image and use for your own personal use - here let me help you with the link

I've got a coupe of original Banksy's which I love - and I just bought an HMV and Pulp Fiction which he sent all the way to Oz - I know they're not originals and if any visitors to the house ask i'll tell them the same - but I like the images - and for just over 50 notes i get a decent reproduction of an image i love on my wall

Owning a reproduction print would compromise the integrity of my/your whole collection and would devalue your opinion amongst other things. back in the day these prints never sold out on POW so ther couldn't of been many people that liked the image but now they are worth ยฃยฃยฃยฃยฃยฃยฃยฃ's they seem to get snapped up very quickly and it is hard to get the images you like unless you want to sell your right leg!

thats exactly what i would imagine the seller is doing, just wish i thought of it actually, send me one for free MrWCP and ill big it up no ends ..

I think there's a big difference in the two situations you describe. MBW is selling the art he and (mostly, I gather) his team make as his own, original art. And the gallery pieces sell for tens of thousands of pounds, yes? The reproduction Banksy prints are just that. They are fakes, but not SOLD as anything but. I don't want to wade too far into the debate, but it does seem that a lot of opposition to the reproductions has to do with the "value" of your collection. If you're buying art for an investment, not because you like the image, then I can see how that would be a concern.

you mean over spray ? to make it look like a stencil... yes im pretty sure the prints have this in areas
